Description: The concept of subpersonalities in executive coaching, as parts of the personality – of coach and coachee – that have enabled survival and success will be presented and worked with experientially.
Who are we when we are coaching? And how much of himself/herself is our client presenting in the coaching?
What are the possibilities that arise if coaches attain a higher degree of self-awareness? Only some of the questions that the session will illuminate.
Description: The speed of development in both theory and practice of coaching supervision has been impressive yet the rate of development has not been accompanied by much research to verify the assertions of its proponents. How does what is rapidly becoming the accepted model for supervision in coaching relate to what is traditionally understood by the word. Ian will share findings from his recent research into the practice and beliefs of APECS members who work as supervisors, facilitating an exploration of what this research can tell us about the possible futures of supervision.
